I came to the Centre because I didn’t want to be stuck at home. My dad passed away and my brother moved back home to look after me. My brother works all day, and I get lonely. Every time I look at my dad’s chair it upsets me. It was my brother’s idea to come to the day centre. On my first day here, I was frightened as it was all new to me. Now I like it here as I have made friends. I love going cycling, bowling and on trips to Brighton and Godstone Farm.
At the Centre I like doing art and playing jokes on the staff. I like doing jobs around the Centre and helping other clients, especially Ann and Michael. I miss the staff when they are on holiday
