Rutherford School celebrated International world book day by providing two great interactive sensory stories via zoom for our homeschoolers, whilst our young people onsite marvelled in a day of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Our pupils had the opportunity to socialise and engage with their peers at home via zoom whilst we experienced a sensory adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate factory. There were some fantastic costumes on display and our young people shared their favourite books. It was a great day made even more special being able to do host a whole school learning activity for all our pupils.
Here is a short video of what we got up to!
