Volunteer
If you would like to volunteer at one of Garwood’s Croydon based sites we would love to hear from you. We have a number of different volunteering opportunities – from gardening to sewing, to retail and teaching.
Volunteer in the shops
We have two Croydon based charity shops – South Croydon and Addiscombe. Our retail teams are supported by dedicated volunteers who assist with the running of the shops. Tasks include sorting donations, merchandising pricing items, using the till and spreading the word about Garwood and how their purchases will support our work. Our volunteers build strong rapports with the community and are the face of Garwood and its mission.
Run activities
If you have a particular hobby you would like to share with our students or day centre users, we would love to hear from you. Our focus is on what everyone at Garwood, CAN do – we can work with you to ensure the session is fully inclusive and meets the needs of everyone.
