Croham Hurst Golf Club’s Joint Charity Golf Day, held in aid of Garwood, proved to be a tremendous success, bringing together members, guests and supporters for a memorable day of golf, fundraising and community spirit.
Blessed with glorious weather, participants enjoyed excellent playing conditions, a wonderful atmosphere and some outstanding golf throughout the day. The event showcased the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved, with players and supporters contributing through donations, raffle entries and spirited bidding during the charity auction.
Thanks to the incredible support received, a fantastic amount of money was raised for Garwood’s Space to Thrive Appeal, helping to continue its vital work supporting people with learning disabilities.
The organisers would like to extend their sincere thanks to all players, sponsors, donors and volunteers whose efforts made the day such a resounding success. Special thanks go to the staff at Croham Hurst Golf Club for their hard work, professionalism and support both before and during the event, helping to ensure that everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
A heartfelt thank you is also extended to the talented students from The BRIT School, whose wonderful singing added to the occasion and helped create such a memorable atmosphere. The event would not have been possible without the generosity of the many local businesses and organisations that donated raffle and auction prizes. Their support played a vital role in the success of the fundraising efforts and was greatly appreciated by everyone involved.
The combination of great weather, great company, great golf, fantastic entertainment and outstanding generosity created a truly special occasion that will have a lasting impact.
Plans are already underway for next year’s event, and everyone is encouraged to save the date now: Thursday 11 June 2027 at Croham Hurst Golf Club.
