We as a school are united in grieve, after Aaron sadly passed away on the 24th March 2016.
Aaron was a much loved pupil of the school and member of the Rainbow Class. His great big beaming smile and loud voice was a reflection on his beautiful personality. He first joined our Rutherford family in October 2005. Together many of us has shared highs and lows with him. He was a brave courageous young man. He proved so many wrong and defied the odds many times when they were stacked against him! He has now, grown his angel wings and we will miss him so much. Although he is not with us in the flesh his memory will be with us always.
In school, as tradition depicts, we had a small memorial send off for Aaron. It is a way for our pupils and staff to say goodbye and share memories. The pupils and staff came together outside in the garden. His teacher Emma did a reading and we listened to one of Aaron’s favorite songs. This was followed by the release of balloons. The sun came bursting through the clouds and we would like to think that it was him, being there with us in spirit.
Please contact the Head of School for details of his funeral. The family has requested no flowers, but donations be made to the school in Aaron’s memory.
We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
